How we started?

Ahinsa Care’s inception is rooted in the shared vision of two kindred spirits turned co-founders, Tuba and Faiz. Both armed with expertise in biotechnology and chemical engineering, their journey began with a simple inquiry into the potential of nature and a deep concern for the environment. Fueled by a shared desire to effect positive change and harmonize with nature, they set out on a quest to harness the potency of plant-based and eco-friendly ingredients for their brand, Ahinsa Care. Additionally, they ventured into the creation of All Natural Personal Care Products under their brand Soil Concept.

Meet our founder Tuba Siddiqui

With a background in Biotechnology from Lucknow, Tuba is a true nature enthusiast at heart. Her collaborations extend to prestigious institutions like IIM Bangalore, ICAR Delhi, CSIR CIMAP Lucknow, Banasthali University Jaipur, Womennovator, and Atal Incubation Centre Delhi. An alumna of the Goldman Sachs 10k program, Tuba’s accolades include the 1000 Women Faces of Asia Award in 2021 and recognition by the President of India at the G20 Summit in Lucknow in 2022. Driven by her action-oriented approach and dedication, Tuba is deeply passionate about her work and is committed to promoting a natural and healthy lifestyle.

Meet our founder Faiz Siddiqui

Faiz’s journey from a corporate career to becoming an environmentally conscious entrepreneur is deeply rooted in his passion for nature and sustainability. Raised in Lucknow, Faiz found solace and inspiration in nature, particularly after experiencing the loss of his mother during his high school years. Armed with a Master’s degree in chemical technology with a specialization in Oils, Oleochemicals, and surfactants from HBTI Kanpur, Faiz initially pursued a career as a Scientist C at a prestigious company in Gurgaon. With four years of experience as a Quality Manager with associations like NABL, CPCP, MoEF, and NABET QCI, Faiz witnessed firsthand the harmful effects of toxic chemicals in everyday products. He is a passionate advocate for environmental consciousness.

Our Journey to Shark Tank Season 2

Faiz, Tuba, and their team were pivotal participants in Shark Tank Season 2 with their brand Mitti Se. This experience proved transformative as the sharks provided valuable insights and suggestions, encouraging the duo to establish separate brands for Personal Care and Home Cleaning Products. Alongside mentors and peers, they learned invaluable lessons about product differentiation and market positioning, leading to the strategic decision to divide their offerings into two distinct brands: Ahinsa Care for home cleaning products and Soil Concept for sustainable personal care items.
